Get this* straight, I am not playing on words or the specially abled. Nor am going to cast all enterpreneurs as some of the best business leaders. But has Maria Bartiromo been noted** for her distortion today? How many small businesses can succeed without knowing "this" from "that"? Probably between 75 & 94%.*** Or they can get a job hosting or contributing to CNBC.
* this was today where they misunderstood President Obama's "that"
** that was yesterday [7-18-12 Maria Bartiromo links updated including bold added]
*** But that would be only if I was limited to their resources.(Chamber of Commerce)
[Would Rasmussen do a poll, how many Chamber of Commerce members know "this" from "that"? Already 75% to 94% don't know how the Obama care would affect them.]

Star Chamber Revisited.
No, not the movie, although I did find it on cable and thought I had better review it. I mean the Geometrics of Journalism*.
But I digress...(see asterisk)from my initial five pointed star(**) which featured... various luminaries.
* Due to potential vagaries of searching, here are the current Star** Chamber references found. In referencing 3 there will be four as soon as this is entered.
[Note: Sub con text, it is not so much a matter of art, but whine and cheese.]

Reel Ledership
Unknown candidate more favorable than Obama.
Obama leading over known persons.
Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding!
2000th post.
(Counting 90 in draft, that is.)
Unfortunately, the blog format has evolved, and needs getting used to.
In fact, it seemed to evolve mid-post, as I managed to get in a bottom link here, but cannot not locate that process going forward or even in edit format.
THIS just as I had declared MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, I mean, ACCOMPLISHED[!]
And just as I had reached a pinnacleof a point, (That was redundant, or was it?) {one of the the new features}
the irony* of Mission Accomplished, let alone leadership. (David Sirota and the Star Chamber)

But earlier with Jansing & Co.
And earlier with Ed Schultz and Nancy Pelosi.
BUT HERE IS part of the Mission CON *** TEXT,

** or rather not yet with Alex Wagner
(and before I forget, it is the "pretty please" hyperbola of Romney, and the childish cycle.)

[Final note in reverence to Christopher Hitchens, and reference to Bashir and Ratigan. (oops)]
[accidental tangent found error in "Final" link/search/pun]
Mean[!]while: Ratigan has a panel on "Straight Talk" where Mission Accomplished applies to the popularity of congress. With Republicans in charge of the House and having record filibusters,(meaning a minority has the responsibility in the Senate), their schtick is gridlock, not progress or compromise, let alone all truism. These are my prose not the panel's or guest's, but it can certainly be said that for the Republican goal of making sure there is a one term president by passing the buck, it could be mission accomplished. But that hits the nail on the head with my lede (and the source) of Reel Ledership[!].

Not to make light...
but actually that is the point. To shine a light on things.

While there is a far cry from the Penn State tragedy and the "agreement" that Herman Cain is dancing around, there does seem to be the thread of "market forces".
I should note, that like Cain, in some respects I blame the media. But we must not shoot the messenger. Nor necessarily "blame yourselves" for not having all the horrific D-tales. i.e. I don't think the severity of the details came to light immediately. Even though events have occurred over a broader spectrum of time [!]
Oops ? That's Right. That's the ticket[!]
[Who wants their MTV?]
[Back to a revisiting of the Star Chamber, Randi Rhodes is up there with her always insightful and often inciteful analysis of the Republicans as well as Obamanomics. Lawrence O'Donnell is the MSNBC/congressional version. Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz are two candidates I endorsed for their positions at MSNBC. And Norman Goldman is like the most legal and often infuriating, point of light.]

[Also on The Ed Show: Representative Bane Or, not ledership! I would like to defend Dick Cheney though, as I believe that the boos were for the heckler not the former V.P. If Republicans don't want to talk about the Reagan debt, then Obama can leave it off the budget table for them.]

Obtuseness?
Robert Reich asks why are Democrats voting for Reaganomics?
Paul Craig Roberts suggests another spin on Reaganomics.
Is it the obtuseness of stagflation/inflation?
Is that like growing the pie, while each piece gets smaller?
No, it is like the pie not growing while costs do, and jobs go to pieces. Whew, I think I cut that close to home. But I do think that several of their points do intersect (actually lines do, but at points) but there could be another angle or perspective needed in the back and forth. Enough ge oh me trick ally pointed puns. It may take a third econonomic perspective or formulae to alter the give and take. At least it is not just about supply and demand, but employment and progress. But for whom?
[I did not mean to kill two birds with one stone, but yes I am often obtuse or have a cute angle on things. I may often have too big a picture(stone) or skip from one to another perspective(bird). But this toss is back to the concept of not all things being equal. Not just taxes, but debt and spending, in regards to alternate pies, perspectives or form you lie.]

"More Scrutiny Needed!"
Bloomberg Commentary by Betsy McCaughey
Not necessarily the one to do it.
Update: 2-13-09 [Shout Out: Media Matters]
[Update 2-12-09 "Conservative Media Echo Chamber..."
Also more on Misinformation... ]
[from dialogue with Thrasymachus * ]
...the last paragraph was an eye opener if you believe it. Well not really; it confirms my world view or rather your world view. Health care should be a growth industry and cost is no object.
But second: health-care reform is made up of more than just government programs, and will not replace the healthcare industry or the insurance industry, so it is very easy to cherry pick and hits the nail on the head with my last post:
BTW: I really did some ridiculous math (further amendment to my blog) that went on in the comment section. If the $800 billion (jobs bill) were purely partisan or completely extremist (utopian?) and the choice were between more Bush tax cuts, and all food stamps (which I can't imagine anyone proposing) (but probably some on the right might) the Bang for the Buck would be negative .71 / dollar or positive .73 / dollar. But that is only if some would have it only their way. HOWEVER it seems even a balanced partisan bill would result in closer to zero effectiveness. This is extreme rhetoric(and math), but seems to demolish the moderate approach as well. It does however prove the importance of new thinking rather than more of the same.

It might be easier to agree what not to do, than what to do, as long as failure is an option. But failure is not an option; it is a choice. This may seem like lost words, but failure is a potential outcome. And it can no more be simply allowed**, than freedom. Maybe this is Philosophy 701, but the Washington Post is not up to Journalism 201, let alone the economy. And this gal is not not up to Journalism 101. WWWWWH? (that too...or also)

Para-model
I will begin at the end, or rather the present.
Less than two paragraphs in:
What's Left of the Left. Why do I begin at that moment? Allow me to begin again at this moment.
What is Left of the Left?
(the lede of the link)(4)***
Is this a geometric or quantitative heading?
What is not right about the left?
Or how much of the left is still there?
Now if I may do a Hansel and Gretel impersonation...my point is that I have worked out my path off-blog. i.e. left some pebbles to attempt to trace my path.
The reality is that I got the article from** MSNBC*, (current lede) Actually I got the link not the article. So I am still working it out, but will now save my Para-model.doc with this.
* actual clip here later
**anachronistic conundrum(or appropriate con un drum)[Cain beating the media.(1)]
*** post save doc: golf term "four"/Mulligan?
[Now I must note that I will square [bracket(#)] and or continue after reading more.]
[I should now note that I have left open a blog I was editing, which has now been inserted in my Para-model.doc ala my Hansel and Gretal MO. Apparently the pebbles were bread crumbs, but in reading What is Left of the Left, noticing that I have read only one of seven pages, I must MoveOn for the time being.]
[Now... actually just moments after the last bracket I will make a point.(see **(1) On what the heck is Cain doing? He is working the model of the media, in a fourth branch sort of way. He is getting attention, and I will sort out that fourth dimension. And I must note I am impressed with Joe the Plumber and Rupert the Survivor as candidates of a third kind. Not to call them, "Out There". But I think there is something to the polarity and needing more perspectives than our parties and branches provide. And this is reflected in a mechanics and dynamics, that is not just two dimensional. But Steven Jobs did point out to Rupert Murdoch that it can be either constructive or destructive. It is not about left or right, up or down, or forward or back again. It is about making progress or not. Everything else is how, and by and for whom? Does any of this embedded here or in my saved doc, explain: that the more radical a comment the more coverage it gets? It might depend on if one is Leaning Forward or Fair and Balanced. Now, I know that there is some perspectivism here, but Fair and Balanced does not mean two dimensional. Now it just depends on if I am talking about the Media or Faux News.]
[My apologies for my Quantum Leap over the Big Cheese, I feel my bread crumbs may be safe in draft see image.]

[Andrea Mitchell: Why has the president waited? Because he wanted congress to do their job! That was my preemptive answer to the preemptive question. Meaning, I was expecting the question and anticipated the answer, which just may be in the unfinished heading: What is Left of the Left.(No question mark or exclaimation mark?)]
[Speaking of Hands or Thumbs: L-curve anyone?]

[My para-model.doc is a bibliograpy of sorts(pun intended). Some Late Entries.: not to mention blog searches for con+scious, con+science, anarchy, tyranny, and thumb and buffet.]
[For the record Searches @thumb= Star Chamber/Big Cheese/Para-Model/Obama Doctrine/Who are they calling?. @buffet= Para-model/Big Cheese/From GOP to NOP/Brackets and Debt Clock/N-oddly Enough/All Politics is Local/Commander in Chief/Off the Cliff/Irony versus Hypocrisy. By this I am recording what the Al Gore Rythms find, just in case something changes.]
[This is bleapin' freaky considering my heading and intention here: The last of my late entries, and the last thing(or link) in my para-model.doc is this and (THIS)is the first thing Ed Schultz is talking about when I turn on his show. QED? Not to mention the rest of his show, which is yet to run(he is going on about Romney in Ohio? and a clear plan, and Democrats losing the message war, then Bernie Sanders and the NYtimes poll?), but is actually digitally delayed for local radio.]

Still going? QED?]
* actual clip here later

Update 11-30-11
Adjusted Bottom Link to reflect previous day's post.
Also noting that November 2011 archive is not large enough to contain all the posts for November. As if Tin Foil Herman was not a big enough post... here are the preceding posts.
11-7-11 Sat-Ire[!]
11-6-11 Star Chamber Revisited
11-3-11 Two Points
11-2-11 Cain Un-Able
11-1-11 Hyper-Sorting
11-1-11 Six Sigma
11-17-11* It's not Rocket Science
My intent above was to list the earliest posts for November. Six Sigma is not Rocket Science, but navigating our nation, just may be, let alone this blog. Bottom Line? Anachronism is in play.
* anachronism explained: bottom link of each post is supposed to indicate the previous post. Six Sigma has 11-17-11 as that link. But apparently 10-31-11 may be more complex an anachronism-

Experience Message Project
Not Experience Mitt Project
In Seattle there is Paul Allen's Experience Music Project but last night (or as I hit snooze this AM) while it has escaped me now, my project was more "fair and balanced". Something about red, blue and purple, not to joke* about dreams. Experienced Medium Project was not what I was going for, but may be the way I roll.**
*Ctrl F "green"
** Roman Numberal Pages (label added).
[Scroll over for hints, Nav &*** need updates.]
[ Re: Cycle ? The Cycle (undated?)]
7-17-12 Perspectiv-ism (Not fully read yet.)
Dog Whistles ! Not (Nerdlandy Exceptionalism) So Cheap Trick [!] ? [!] (Or the Blue Badge of Courage.)[Raw Money and Pawlenty?]
[ The Real(B) Smoking Gun(A) ? CNBC guest and host, don't get America, Obama or English. "That" is not "it"! Obama did not say that they did not build thier businesses, they did not build the roads. Well, they did but, we paid for them. And today Romney showed that 75%(or plays down 94%) of the Chamber of Commerce don't get economics either.]
[A. Maria Bartiromo and her guest cannot be so obtuse or are they deliberately distorting what the President said. "That" is not "it", means that the President meant they did not build the infrastructure not their businesses. B. And former Senator Sununu is really blowing smoke, the better his message not be seen for how wrong it is.]

The Challenge?
A legend for the Road map.[**]
[1-26-11 Update Dated below]
Are we there yet?
Pit Stops or Rest Stops?
Don't just spin our wheels.
Not that the squeaky wheel doesn't...
locating progressive perspectives may be in need of a key.
[Walking the line...w/Sam Stein, a tangent of empathy or introspection or straddling it with w/Paul Krugman, or neo-alterior line?*]
* there is some cognitive dissonance in this; America as a business, the private FED, and not just to pun on read or black [updated]
[** 1-25-11 Not exactly a huge effort to find the Republican Health care plan [Plan] but... here is more of a reply all, to the challenge, thanks to Rachel Maddow.]
[Not exactly up to the challenge above, nor exactly pro-rated, but still pre-speech... the challenge was the sources and keys to them, and it seems the media is not really up to the challenge or it takes more hard work. However, part of the challenge is the political nature of the media itself***. While attention has been given to a third so-called party within a party as a reply to the State of the Union, where is the so called Left? The Republicans have divided themselves to conquer so to speak, is there a voice let alone plan from the left in there, other than the pundits of lean forward? Or is Obama the Middle Bear's porridge? Just right.]
*** follow-upHowever: a turn spike.
[1-26-11 UPDATE: but just a hunch, as I pause the video, as the applause is still rolling, as the President enters the chamber, in the Welcome to the Enhanced State of the Union, the point is immediate: Winning The Future. Competition and Foreign Policy will not be foreign to Coordination.]
